the view of the lake was amazin, and my room was warm and quiet. also, it was super nice that we could bring our dog, pixie, who felt comfy too. the staff gave us lots of great recommondations for local eateries and bars. i will def be back and have told family and friends about this place!

only a couple of minor issues like the stairs feelin a bit dated and it was a lil hard to find at first.

Great views of Lake Taupo and spacious rooms, but the lift was noisy and the shower pressure was weak. Clean and comfy overall, though!

I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a lake view room, which offered magnificent vistas. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed.

The location was a bit far from the town center, necessitating a 10-15 minute walk, but it was manageable. the shower pressure was weak, which was a tad disappointing.

Had a lovely stay! The room boasted a microwave, toaster, and kettle—perfect for being self-sufficient. Plus, my late arrival was handled smoothly, and the chap at reception was an absolute peach!

The WiFi acted like it was on a permanent holiday—so much for checking my emails! And I wouldn’t say no to a few less cobwebs in the corners. a spin around the room wouldn’t hurt!

i was absolutely appalled by the lack of a proper bathroom door, very awkward indeed. and don’t get me started on the noise from those inconsiderate contractors outside my door. you’d think a place like this woudl offer a complimentary upgrade or some extra attention, but alas, i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.
